About this trip

1. After the registration due date and/or 120 days prior to trip: $50
2. 120-91 days prior to trip: $100 + extra trip cost
3. 90-61 days prior to trip: $150 + extra trip cost
4. 60 days prior to trip: $300 + extra trip cost
Extra trip costs are any extra costs that may occur in relation do late bookings, for example airfare &amp; hotel room rate increases.

Normal individual cancellation policy:
 
1. 60+ days, $50 processing fee + supplier loss
2. 30-59 days, $150 processing fee + supplier loss
3. 15-29 days, $300 processing fee + supplier loss
4. 0-14 days, no refund
 
CDC Warning Levels 3 or State Dept Travel Warning Level 4: Trip ends up being cancelled for the whole group
  
 $50 processing fee + supplier loss
 
Supplier loss is anything we cannot get back from third party travel providers such as airlines and hotels.
 
Real Asia has the right to cancel a trip prior to departure if an event occurs that is outside of the company’s control, such as natural disasters, disease outbreaks, political instability etc.

Ground Cost Cancellation/Change Policies

Any items to be refunded will be processed after the trip has been completed. Refunds will be evaluated and processed within 60 days’ after the request is submitted. 
 
If during the trip any participants voluntarily leave the group, choose not take part in any group tour activities, or miss/do not attend group meals, no refund will be issued.
 
If during the trip a participant must leave the group early due to a medical or family emergency, Real Asia will evaluate and process any necessary refunds. In these cases, most refunds consist of any meal or entrance ticket fees.
 
Real Asia will provide a line-by-line itemization of refund amount. 
 
Real Asia recommends all trip participants apply for traveler’s insurance. Most traveler’s insurance plans cover only the specific person during emergencies. 
 
Any additional expenses such as logistics/hotel for other people such as faculty or trip leader to stay with the trip participant during the specific emergency may not be covered by insurance companies. This may require additional payment and will be billed post trip.

2025 Mark Twain China Trip

this was a trip of a lifetime. we visited so many amazing places that I can't summarize them all here. our tour guide yo-yo was beyond stellar. we would consider doing another tour with her in the future. the kids on the trip also had a marvelous experience seeing one the new seven wonders of the world and learning about all the rich and storied history. we were well fed and all restaurants were very accommodating to our vegetarian participants. 

great high school trip to Taiwan! Interacting with Taiwanese high school students and their families made the experience more real. We toured a good variety of places, with many interesting cultural experiences such as night markets, museums, outdoor activities, food related activities, Taipei 101, Buddhist Institute, etc. Our guide was super, and even had a back-up plan for us when the weather was not cooperating with the scheduled outdoor activity. Would highly recommend!

St. Xavier China Trip

It was a fantastic trip although an exhausting one. The itinerary was jam packed from day one, until the last day. First day we landed at 4 AM in Taipei and walked around Taipei almost ALL day. I couldn't believe it, but I honestly think it helped us get acclimated to the time difference better. 
Throughout the trip we had the BEST tour guide that i could ask for, Andy. He was upbeat, charismatic, got to know EVERY kid by name before he even meet them! He could also get anyone talking- he truly was the best addition to the trip.  He had my students laughing, and was very knowledgeable about every single attraction we went to go see. 

My only issue with the trip and reason it wasn't a 5/5 was because there were 2 occasions when the itinerary planned for us to go through some markets that were actually closed and my students had planned on buying breakfast at those markets. Wish there was a little bit more research done on those occasions- or even a bit more free time given if they knew the market was going to be closed. 

2025 North High School Taiwan

Had an absolutely incredible trip. The schedule was perfect, the food was amazing, and I had the best time!! My tour guide was Wei Wei/Vivi, and she was the best!! She had a great sense of humor, was super knowledgeable, and I had a great time getting to know her!

My son and his classmates had an amazing trip to Taiwan. The trip was well planned, they got to travel all over Taiwan, and they learned so much about the people and the culture. 

It was fun. The itinerary was geared well for the students but a bit hectic for the adults. Jam packed with activities. 

2025 June China Barnard's Big Adventure

My son has an unforgettable experience. He learned so much about Chinese culture visiting Beijing, Xi’an, and Shanghai.  Good choice of restaurants, hotels, and cultural sites. The tour guides and academic leaders were great. Thank you for detailed pre-trip planning and making sure the students were safe and comfortable the entire trip.

Business professors were able to chaperone 9 undergraduate students ages 19-33 to visit many venues in three destinations of Thailand. Real Asia arranged and provided friendly local tour operators to escort students using vans, trains, and in-country flights.
I appreciate the Thai-friendly service provided every day by Fight Ta in Bangkok and other local providers. I trust my students to Real Asia.

Real Asia created an incredible and memorable experience for our students in grades 10-12. All the activities that were planned were interesting and engaging. Students viewed this trip as a once in a lifetime opportunity. They appreciated the full day of activity and the freedom to explore independently after dinner each day. Our tour guide was fantastic. When we encountered minor issues, she was extremely helpful and very flexible to accommodate new circumstances. 2025 Lincoln Taiwan Trip

My son traveled with around 25 high school and academy students and it was the trip of a lifetime. Extremely organized from the very beginning! Real Asia had a wonderful itinerary for the students and chaperones that was presented over zoom to our travel group. The organizers answered all our questions and ga e us helpful tips for a smooth trip. My son had a fantastic time and even brought souvenirs home for all of us who had to stay behind.

Our recent trip to China was an amazing experience, and everything from accommodation to transportation exceeded expectations.
Hotel: The hotel we stayed at was excellent—clean, comfortable, and conveniently 
located. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet offered a great mix of local and Western options.


Restaurants: We were so impressed with the food! Every meal felt like an adventure. The local restaurants recommended by our guide gave us a real taste of authentic Chinese cuisine—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.


Transportation: The tour bus was modern, air-conditioned, and very comfortable. Everything ran on time, and we always felt safe and relaxed during transfers. Public transportation was also easy to navigate with our guide’s help.


Tour Guides: Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly patient. They shared fascinating cultural insights and managed the group smoothly. Their passion really brought each destination to life.


Overall, this trip was well-organized and full of memorable experiences. We highly recommend this travel service and would definitely return for another visit.


We had a great and meaningful visit. Our tour guide ViVi really cared about our group and giving a great experience. I give her 5 stars. We had delicous food! Interestingly the high school visits were the most fun and interesting. I loved Yilan area. And Taipei - just a fascinating place and culture. Would 100% do again!

2025 Saint Francis Hong Kong Singapore Trip

This was a great experience and introduction to the Taiwanese culture. There was such a wide variety of activities, from boat rides and amusement parks to museums and school visits. Everything was well planned, including the wonderful meals. We also had a very enthusiastic tour guide who made sure we all had a good time.

Amazing trip and people, run flawlessly!!

We absolutely loved this trip! Gordon and Tai, our amazing tour guides, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of every step of the way. Carol planned everything perfectly — from the fantastic meals to the super convenient and spotless hotels. We were so well fed, and every meal was delicious! My students had the time of their lives, bonding not only with each other but also with the wonderful local students in Taichung. It was incredible to see so many new friendships blossom. Truly an unforgettable experience!

The trip was extremely fun and educational. We had an awesome tour guide named Claire and she helped make the entire trip go extremely smoothly. Everything planned were super entertaining and I really enjoyed every activity. My trip to Taiwan (through your agency) was an incredible experience, filled with diverse group activities and unforgettable sightseeing in five different cities. Imagine you’re a kid who has read all the wonderful books about exotic places and is learning a new language as well. The kid will start getting ideas and images of the place in his/her mind. Now imagine you can not only make it a reality but a fun good one with a well planned trip so not only the kid is living that dream trip but the parents are also happy that their kid is happy and safe and well taken care of in a far off place. 

Thanks to Real Asia and the wonderful teachers and experiential learning leader at St Andrew’s this was not just possible but more importantly memorable. 

IMO the pricing was right, the location was right and the timing and scheduling also right. I’m sure a lot of thought and planning went into it but as we saw the final product we were happy with the result.
